Walmart operates three business segments: Walmart US, Walmart International and Sam's Club. Walmart US operates as a merchandiser of consumer products, operating under the Walmart, Wal-Mart, and Walmart Neighborhood Market brands, as well as walmart.com and other eCommerce brands. Walmart International manages supercenters, supermarkets, hypermarkets, warehouse clubs and cash and carry outside of the US. The Sam's Club segment consists of membership-only warehouse clubs and samsclubs.com. Walmart, Inc. was founded by Samuel Moore Walton and James Lawrence Walton in 1945 and is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas.
